Every commercial facility requires different service schedules. Many of our shopping malls are cleaned Quarterly. While other apartment complexes we service are cleaned monthly. Obviously the more frequent the service the better looking and less stains the buildings walk ways will have. The frequency is typically tied to foot traffic. If you own a commercial facility and have low foot traffic you can get away with pressure washing twice a year. However a shopping plaza that recieves medium foot traffic typically recieves cleaning every other month or quaerterly services. The very busy businesses and or apartment complexes recieve pressure washing monthly.

Driveways, walkways and sidewalks are sometimes made from different types of material like concrete, asphalt and stone just to name a few. Cleaning concrete and other porous materials can be very demanding and in some cases, can't be cleaned at all due to the stain type, age of the stain and how far down it has been absorbed.

The difficulty of removal also depends greatly on the type of driveway or walkway you have in your commercial location. Although most are made from concrete, some are made by asphalt, stone and even brick or tile pavers. Though concrete, brick, stone and tile all have their share of difficulties, asphalt is a whole new game, so we'll save that for a later date. We're going to focus on concrete cleaning for the primary purpose of this tip section. Now don't misunderstand, cleaning concrete is no easy task. There are several things you will need to get started. The main thing is a good commercial grade power washer. You can rent one at your local home improvement store. The next thing is the right cleaner. You need to buy a professional strength concrete cleaer. After reading the instructions, proceed with caution and make sure not to hold the tip of the wand too close to the concrete. Be prepared to move slowly and give the cleaners time to work and as indicated in the concrete cleaning instructions. If this work seems too strenuous for you, please contact a professional concrete cleaning contractor to do the work for you. If you live in California, Contact Smart Janitorial.
